Clover Cookie Adventure

So I had this idea to create a clover cookie for St. Patrick's Day.  I was inspired by the many four leaf clovers recently discovered tucked away in the pages of my Grandma Swann's bible(that story is coming soon).  But of course, I waited till the day before to start this creative project.  It's funny how I can plan something in my head and see it's entirety so beautifully then NOT proceed forward in a timely manner all under the assumption that I can totally execute the project in the space of a few hours.  HA!!  I'm gonna have to work on this one, idea/execution time frame.  So as you can imagine, I was unable to locate a suitable four leaf clover cookie cutter and thought…well…there goes that plan.  But then I thought wait a minute, I can download a clover template, trace it onto cardboard, cut it out, and then use as a guide.  All I have to do is use a knife to carve around the edge of the guide and…Voilà…Four Leaf Clover Cookies.  It totally worked.  Check out the photos below to see the results.  The cookie recipe I'm still perfecting as it's gluten free/dairy free.  I'm a bit picky when it comes to flavor and texture, so I'll run through multiple versions before I'm satisfied to share.  But for now, hope you have a Happy Happy St. Patrick's Day.  Eat and Drink many things green and be Merry:)
